Anti-aliased text of XXPro
I've been working with Xara from the start and find it a wonderful software.
It is a very complete image-editing package but one useful thing lacks from the start: the NOT anti-aliased text!
In web oriented pages, we often need not anti-aliased text, expecially for the tiny words of the menus.
I usually create the not anti-aliased text in Photoshop and then I import it into Xara.
If I could avoid it, I will very very happy!
Any suggest? Thanks!

Does the "Set View Quality" slider not provide the result you require?
If you move the slider to the left, then the anti-alias is removed on both the image/text displayed and on the contents that you subsequently File, Export.

Re: Anti-aliased text of XXPro
You probably want to use bitmap fonts. These are non-anti-aliased and meant to be used at one size only.
You can find a good selection of free bitmap fonts at DaFont.com > Bitmap.

Thanks Steve for your answer!
I know very well the "Set View Quality" function but it doesn't work properly for this aim. I mean, it doesn't eliminate truely the anti-aliasing effects (see example). In addition, it effects all over the image.

Thanks Gary for this info: I didn'nt know this kind of fonts and I think they will be very useful for my job!
Unfortunately Xara uses anti-alias on everything, so even on this fonts (see example)!!! :-(
Re: Anti-aliased text of XXPro
Anakin63, I'm with you: There has to be a function to disable antialias for some objects within a drawing.
On the other side: Please don't use 4pt/5pt/6pt pixel fonts on a website. Please!

Anakin,
Are you using the Minimise visible anti-aliasing in the export window?
Re: Anti-aliased text of XXPro
I wish there was an option to turn it off too. I think most of us web designers do. But Gary is right though. While not ideal, the best solution is to have a specific font for the job. We have a tutorial about that here.
