Which version of PowerPoint?
PowerPoint relies upon Apple's QuickTime to play movies and animation files. maybe you should convert flash movie' format to mov. I know iwisoft swf to mov converter works well for that. You can google it, good luck.

Actually it is a misconception that Powerpoint requires Apple's Quicktime. If you have installed Quicktime it replaces every registry entry for the video players on your system. This can make people think it is required where it actually has only hijacked your system.
To play Flash video in Powerpoint 2003 you need the Adobe Flash Player installed and/or the Microsoft ActiveX control for Flash.
Open Powerpoint Help and search for Flash. Detailed information about how to use them within Powerpoint.
You can also simply click on the link http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/po...348071033.aspx
Step 1: Put the Flash movie and your PowerPoint presentation in the same folder.
Step 2: Open “PowerPoint Options” and check the option that says “Show Developer Tab in the Ribbon”
Step 3: Click the icon in the “Developer Tab” that looks like a tilted hammer (highlighted in red) and select “Shockwave Flash Object” from the next window.
Step 4: Draw a rectangle using your mouse on the PowerPoint canvas, right click and select “Properties”.
Step 5: Typing the name of the SWF file in the “Movie Property”. For instance, it’s “XXX.swf”. If the presentation and the quiz are not in the same folder, we need to type in the full path of the SWF file.
Then your Flash movie is embedded in the presentation.
Hope it helps and good luck!=)
