this is a test - could we share own demo movies?
I suggest small (~288kb) silent demo movie how to achieve different coloured objects with HUE transparences.

Hi Access,
Thanks for the movie. Plays well with Media Player on Win2K SP4, but does not play at all in Winamp.
Good idea -- animated tutorials. I like the scope of the tutorial (one idea expressed well), the size (quick download), and the pace (quickly executed). I also like that you didn't pepper the tutorial with lots of "required reading" notes.
How made?
Thanks
-- Sam

Sorry, it didn't play at all! - Andrew
( windows xp, window media player)

I couldn't play it either - XP & WMP. Odd, as I though Windows Media Player could play AVI.

Hi Access,
Follow-up -- on Win2K SP4, also plays well in Irfanview.
-
Wouldn't play on any of my kit (WM, Nero ShowTime, DivX, IrfanView), but IrfanView provided the most helpful guidance http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Go to http://www.fourcc.org/indexcod.htm and download and install the codec called "TSCC". Then all of a sudden all the other programs will play it too!

How does it go? Anton, you da man! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Great little tut, Access. Love the idea of making mini movies for them too. What program did you use to do that?
-
I made it with HypeCam, but there are 100s of Screen Capture applications. See in Google http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Packed (as Xara videos) with free TechSmith codec.

Plays OK for me with WMP on XP SP2.
Did you download or try to play direct? I downloaded then played it.
Great idea Access.
