I have a little "problem" regarding background image and hopefully someone can help me out - I created my desired background image (1px x 1201px) and put it in the bitmap gallery ... everything fine!

As the content of my website won't have the same length, I need different background images ... so I spread out the lower white part to create more room and loaded this background image (1px x 1314px) into my second page!

This also worked ... well not really: in the browser preview everything looks fine - but in the XARA window I always get the first background image to show (see screenshot) although I changed the site length to 1314px!

As I said, in the browser preview everything looks fine ... but in Xara it should look like the second screenshot not the first one - any advice (I hope you understand what my problem is?)

I like my dark red theme color font, but when it's put in the nav bar (the page you are currently visiting) it's too dark to read.

Since the new programme didn't copy my ftp info from WD MX Premium in the upgrade, I'm wondering whether it transferred 8's memory. In other words, will it recognize when uploading what files are already there from the last WD 8 upload, and not duplicate them. I tried that with another website and it duplicated everything, bumping the number of files in the index_htm folder to over 9000, over double what should have been there. Do I need to delete everything on the server and re-upload from scratch?

The tweak 'dynamic page' for Xara WD7 also works for Xara WD9 Premium. I'm trying the header and the footer to fill the whole browser width, but it won't work.
Anyone have an idea? It would be a huge progress for WD 9.

Anyone having a problem getting the latest update to work?

On my laptop (64b) the update downloaded and worked perfectly but on the desktop (32b) it appears that the update file is trying to upload (you briefly get a the grey uploading box but the progress bar clearly isn't working). The yellow upload button still appears and you can press but it gives a message that it can't find the exe file in Temp folders.

Now the first thought here is Bullguard is blocking it, except Bullguard has permissions set for Xara and if it blocks it tells you.

My only assumption is that Windows has reset to block exes on an update.

Has anyone else had any problems or do you have any ideas?

I'm nearly stumped.

Having created an animated slideshow in Hippo Animator I would like to no have it display in the "Preview Current Web Page" of Web Designer 9 Premium.

Creating a placeholder and pasting the html link that Hippo generates in the HTML code (body) box doesn't result in the animation appearing in the web page preview, so I am guessing that I need to copy the Hippo media to a specific location for the animation to appear and modify the placeholder link to suit.

Question is, where would that location be and how do I go about getting my animation to show?

Your help would be much appreciated.
