But for some reason, I am having a problem with the typing tool.
When I go to type a period at the end of text, it always moves the period to the front of the text unless I add more text after it.. I am a bit confused why this may be happening.. Maybe its a default in how CS6 works? Maybe its just my system? Maybe a corrupt install..? etc.

Anyway, does anyone know how I could possibly fix this issue??

I appreciate any help. Thank you for your time! :)

Hi guys, So I'm trying to figure out how the "Names" option works and what exactly it is effecting when I add a new name. I am wanting to attach several tags if possible directly to a handful of my images. Sort of like how Photobucket allows you to tag and name and provide descriptions for each image; this is what I would like to do. Is this possible? And what is the "names" options doing exactly? Can I change the names of "many" at the same time? Or would that just cause confusion in the server directory?

Thanks as always!

I am trying to reproduce one of the samples that shipped with Xara Designer Pro X. I followed the steps necessary to modify the rectangle on the page background to give it curved corners. I then created headers and footers from rectangles, matching the corners. Everything went swimmingly... Until I tried to implement push. No matter what changes I make, when text pushes the footer down (as it should), the header gets shifted 10 pixels in the positive Y. I have no idea why this is happening. Has anyone else experienced this or know what I might have done wrong? I don't plan on being a professional graphic designer but since I've bought the Xara PGD7 software, I was curious if it is possible to make ribbons, shadow dividers, tags, and other fancy doodads in web design. Some examples are here - http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2011...in-web-design/ Are there sources available where I can download an example and modify in xara?

On a separate note - can you tell me again how to make a white background transparent? Thank you for your time.

When you ctrl-click the underlying object(s) of an opacity mask and move it, the mask appears to be limited to the initial boundary of this object. Refreshing by zooming or moving the object resolve this.
Importing with drag+drop does not honor image size in PNG like v7.
When applying color contone to bitmap fills, gradient Profiles doesn't work, the sliders always reset to zero.

Hi, I've designed this new website in WD and it displays fine in my FF, IE and Chrome browsers. However, some people are having problems with the website being too big and they have to scroll across to the view the main page in full. I have used large pictures as backgrounds to the site, but some browsers seem to render this starting from the left, and not centering the page as it seems to do on my pc. Can anyone help?

The links also use Century Gothic - I understand this isn't entirely websafe, but do you reckon I could get away with it. I don't care so much if people using a version earlier than XP or using linux can't see it, hardly anyone is on those systems these days.
This bit of Birmingham's canal system is tucked away behind and underneath the city centre and I had to wait til the right time of year to get the sun where it needed to be. Processed through Red Paw Beautifier to get the look I wanted.
2) Draw a line, apply brush "MyBrush1", set outline color to blue, set line width to 24pt.
3) Click on "Edit Brush". In the "Fill Properties Tab" select "Local colors replace: All brush colors", increase Saturation and Hue (the brush should cycle rainbow-ish colors). Save as new brush "MyBrush2".
4) Draw a new line, apply brush "MyBrush2", set outline color to green, set line width to 24pt.

BUG: the "All brush colors"-setting has not been saved in the new brush.
